Samoosa are the trending Ramadan Fidget spinner, I don’t think there is any home that doesn’t fry samoosa for Ramadan.
Last year I found one blog name in instagram, I was mind blown by the desserts made by Ms.Tasbih from Egypt, all her Middle East desserts which I tried did get in so much praises from my family. Check her blog to find many more desserts!

So this year I again tried them and they were so tasty ….. Mini samoosas crispy and delicious with sugar syrup another version of baklawah .


Sugar syrup

  • Sugar 1cup
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1tsp rose water
  • 1tsp orange blossom water

Pistachios crushed for garnish


In a pan make the sugar syrup, don’t stir boil it and when it boils reduce to summer it … it needs to be corn syrup , semi thick consistency .

Then take samoosa sheets and fold it add 1/4 tsp one mini cube of cream cheese and fold and seal ends with egg white or flour paste
In a pan pour one table spoon of oil and just pan fry the samoosa … you literally need very less oil it’s not deep fry . When golden in one side flip to other and side and make it crisp
I also did air fry few , used Philips air fryer and it was perfect , to the air fryed samoosa I added honey

You can pour the syrup while serving it can pour ahead and garnish with pistachios .
